LaShonda H. Henderson is the CEO of L&L Clinical Counseling Services, LLC.

LaShonda is a graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and a graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, Mo., with a Masters of Art in Mental Health Counseling.

She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia.  She is a Certified Clinical Trauma  Professional as well as Trauma Conscious Yoga Method Teacher.  She is a trained Batterer’s Intervention Program Facilitator and a Certified Prepare and Enrich Facilitator.

She is the author of The Longest Walk Home: My Journey of How I Survived Teen Dating Violence.  it’s a memoir of her life as a teenage victim of dating and domestic violence.  She takes the readers on her journey; She went from being a blossoming, outgoing, and outspoken girl to being in constant fear for her life at the hands of a young man who could only express his love for her through violence.

 
She is a Veteran Military Police Officer of the United States Army.
 
Having over 20 years of residential and community mental health experience, LaShonda has assisted numerous adolescences and adults, with living the best life possible.
 
 
She wants to help you identify faulty thinking and behavior patterns and change them in a way that not only places you in a position to live a happier life but that you will encourage others to do the same.

She specializes in trauma and working with adolescences and adults who engage in high-risk behaviors like substance abuse, self-injurious behaviors, defiant and violent behaviors.
 
 
LaShonda has experience in treating victims of sexual abuse and trauma-related to family violence, physical abuse, abandonment, and emotional trauma.
